No Ms. Jodhi again today. When I arrived, all the teachers and aides were on their laptops on a zoom call with the entire staff. Mr. Wayne reminded Ms. Champ the principal that I'm also a new sub that's around for the summer. Ms. Champ said she hears me talking to the children down the hall, when she's in her office, and how tenderly I speak to them while keeping them moving. It was pretty cool that she acknowledged me.
Ms. Leslie set up more toys and play spaces outside. She had lego duplo to add to the blue rolling container outside, I went out to watch the door
Eliana was having a difficult day. When I told her to use the toilet, she yelled no, and I had to loudly yell back that she cannot speak to me like that and she needs to apologize. She cocked her head and smiled, and I got down to her level to hear her say sorry.
