Miss Lopez did not show up today. After our talk about teamwork, she bailed. Mrs. Robinson had to watch over our class, it was a mad scramble when they realized Miss Lopez was not coming.
Mrs Robinson feels like an old pro. She's another teacher I want to learn more from. She settled the kids when we came inside by singing nursery rhymes and doing kid yoga. No toys were out, the girls were just focused on her.
There was a little mixup during the bathroom break, the older kids used the younger kids bathroom, while younger kids were waiting to go. Miss Leslie said that it's an issue they've had with the aide who was overseeing the older kids. That aide is Nadia. Miss Leslie didn't use her name, but implied that it wasn't the only incident or issue they've had with Miss Nadia.
It's funny how everyone understands the rules differently. It's like how Sosie tries to correct me, but Miss Leslie tells her I was doing what she told me to do. There's always a little friction, which I don't mind because I'm just following orders.
